Inspired by the laceless AJ5 model that Smith was known to wear on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the NRG 'Fresh Prince' seals up the eyestays entirely and wraps the high-top in a vibrant Grape Ice and New Emerald colorway. The design’s clearest tribute to the sitcom can be found on the insole, where ‘Air Jordan’ branding appears in the style of the show’s title sequence graffiti.
